Paint.NET 3.5.5 (Portable)

Paint.NET is free image editing and photo manipulation software designed to be used on
computers that run Windows. It supports layers, unlimited undo, special effects, and a wide variety
of useful and powerful tools. It started development as an undergraduate college senior design
project mentored by Microsoft, and is currently being maintained by some of the alumni that originally
worked on it. Originally intended as a free replacement for the MS Paint software that comes with Windows,
it has grown into a powerful yet simple tool for photo and image editing. The programming language used to
create Paint.NET is C#, with a small amount of C++ for installation and shell-integration related functionality.

Paint.NET can be used to enhance and clean up your photographs. Using the Clone Stamp tool, the power
lines that criss-crossed in front of the Space Needle were carefully removed. Other operations were
performed that had the effect of smoothing out the image without blurring it, adding some “bloom” (glow),
and increasing the contrast.

Is this version of XP really “Superior” to others ?

When you buy XP x64 Edition from Microsoft you’ll get a rather old CD. So you
go to the Windows Update website and find out you need to update your system
with hundreds of patches, new drivers and so on. This update-process creates a
lot of extra slack on your harddisk, backups of previous versions of numerous
system-files and drivers, and roll-back options you’ll never use, remain there.
Superior XP (SXP64) already has the latest versions of system-files built-IN,
ALL official XP x64 updates released until June 10 2009 are fully integrated!
Some parts of the original Microsoft Windows XP Professional x64 Edition were
bound to go wrong for most users, or were never being used, so these facts have been considered creating SXP64, causing the removal of many files and updating of the registry. All is improved in so many ways that it warranted a freshly created install image to get better speeds and a more reliable daily workflow. If your CPU and motherboard support x64 (64 bit), then this might
very well be the fastest Desktop/Workstation system you can find!

What also makes this install-image superior is the fact that many storage media
controller drivers are already integrated. This means you can install this OS

• Creates IMAGE FILES for an entire Hard Disk, Partition or its part. Such image files can be compressed and split into several files to put it on CD/DVD/Flash or FAT16/FAT32. Then the image files can be processed like regular disks.
Data recovery on damaged or deleted partitions, encrypted files (NTFS 5), alternative data streams (NTFS, NTFS 5).
• Recovering data if:
* FDISK or other disk utilities have been run;
* VIRUS has invaded; FAT is damaged; MBR is destroyed.
• Recognizes localized names.
• Recovered files can be saved on any (including network) disks accessible by the host operating system.
• File or disk content can be viewed and edited with the advanced hexadecimal editor. The editor supports NTFS file attribute editing.

* RAID 6 support, including Reed-Solomon and Vertical XOR. Support for custom-specified RAID 6 layouts.
